Update on government guidance regarding public worship
Since our last newsletter please note that in St Mary’s we will be returning to wearing masks in public worship (unless you are exempt).
– Children under the age of 11 do not need to wear masks.
– Those reading lessons, the celebrant and servers do not need to wear masks.
– We can still have refreshments and sing at present.
– One metre social distancing is not necessary.
– If you are sick or have been in contact with someone with Covid-19 please refrain from attending St Mary’s.
– Please also use the hand sanatiser provided on entry into St Mary’s and in the Magdalen Centre on the route to the toilets.
– Of course we are lucky in St Mary’s that we have such a vast, well ventilated Victorian building, and so I hope this will reassure people about Covid-19 safety.
See you on Sunday at Parish Mass,
All blessings and joys,
Fr. Paschal |
