23 Jan Come Down is a new collection of poetry from the eminent UK poet Fiona Sampson. Questions of humanity, of point of view, are at the heart of Fiona Sampson’s new collection of poetry. Throughout the collection, Sampson’s poems shimmer between the human perspective, and what is beyond. In each poem, language runs and dances over the stuff of the human body and the material of the landscape. She’s joined by the bilingual American writer Manuel Iris, Poet Laureate of Cincinnati, whose work explores themes of family and home.
