“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

The Parish of Old St Pancras has a heart for the young people of the parish, one of compassion, pastoral care spiritual growth. That is why we’re committed to creating space through which young people can encounter God in their own way, walking alongside them and sharing with them our wisdom and love of Christ.

If you are new to church and looking to find out more, or you’re a lifelong Christian, all are welcome to our various groups and events across the Parish. Each church welcomes children in their own way, while all looking towards the same vision. In addition to the churches we work alongside our local church schools, St Michael’s CE Primary and St Mary & St Pancras CE Primary and run joint events with other churches in the area.

Messy Church

St Paul’s is a special place. It’s versatile and has a great outdoor space, which makes it perfect for events such as our Messy Church. In the coming months we are exploring other ways in which we can really grow the children and youth ministry using this amazing space.

Messy Church is a worldwide movement looking at fun new ways of exploring, explaining and being church for families and young people. It is found across the world is based on creativity, hospitality and celebration, and puts Jesus Christ at the heart of all it does.

It is for all ages, ethnicities, abilities… everyone!

Through the nationwide Messy Church initiative, we’re working to bring people together across Camden, serving community by building community where we are.

You don’t have to be Anglican or even Christian to come and enjoy Messy Church! Just turn up, have a fun filled evening with other families living nearby and if you like, feel free to ask any questions you have while you’re with us.

Sunday Club

Sunday Clubs in the Parish

Each of our churches is dedicated to welcoming people of all ages, including families with children. The four churches welcomes children and has events on for young people. St Michael’s, St Mary’s and Old St Pancras each have Sunday morning activities and St Paul’s has various other events and activities which you can find out more about on our upcoming events and news pages.

Junior Church

Every Sunday at St Pancras Old Church, at 9:30am

Junior Church is a creative space through which the young people learn more of Christ through story-telling, games, craft and music, which follows the same readings as the service. This helps parents and children can grow together in faith sharing what they have learnt and made beyond the confines of Sunday mornings. There is also a crèche space available for parents and their little ones to use.

Sunday Club

Every Sunday at St Michael’s Church, at 10:30am

St Michael’s Sunday Club has a broad range of ages, discovering the Word of God through art, creativity, music, stories and more. In addition, a number of our young people are also part of the serving team, learning about the different elements of the service.

Kid’s Club

Every Sunday at St Mary’s Church, at 11am

Kid’s Club is a vibrant group full of fun and creativity with Christ at the centre. The group follows the lectionary alongside the Sunday Mass, making it easier for families to share in the teaching together.
